Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should feel grounded, collaborative, and entirely human—no stuffy clinical coldness or confusing jargon here. I bring my genuine, real-world self to our sessions so you can feel comfortable doing the same. My counseling approach is authentic and down-to-earth, creating a non-judgmental, honest space where you will feel both supported and gently challenged

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) holding a Master’s in Counseling from DePaul University, an MBA from Marquette University, and a B.S. in Psychology. I specialize in helping adults and perpetual overthinkers navigate anxiety, burnout, major life transitions, self-esteem/communication challenges, and improve coping mechanisms. If you are looking to understand yourself better and feel ready to make meaningful changes in your life, I am here to help you bridge that gap.

My approach to therapy

My approach is active, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I use a holistic framework that blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to focus on your unique strengths. Because therapy is heavy work, I also believe there is a time and place for humor—laughing together can be just as healing as digging into the tough stuff.

We skip the passive nodding and focus heavily on the "what now?" by looking at what is draining your battery, identifying unhelpful thought patterns, and building a practical toolkit that works in your real life. Think of me as a navigator rather than a driver: you are always behind the wheel, but I am right next to you with the map and a flashlight to help point out the potholes and suggest better routes.

What you can expect from me

You can expect our first session to feel like an honest, relaxed conversation between two humans, completely free of judgment. If you are nervous, it might feel a little awkward for the first five minutes, but my priority is to quickly make this the one hour of your week where you don’t have to perform or pretend you have everything figured out.

During this initial session, we will openly discuss your specific concerns, explore what has been keeping you stuck, and start mapping out a strategic, tailored plan for your growth. You will leave the session with a clear understanding of how we will work together and an actionable path forward.
