Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Maria Munoz, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I believe healing happens in safe, authentic relationships, and my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.

I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and am licensed in Colorado. My passion is helping women, children, and teens navigate intense emotions, life transitions, and family challenges through developmentally appropriate and evidence-based approaches.

Whether you, your relationship, or a loved one is struggling with anxiety, behavior concerns, trauma, relationship concerns, or family changes such as divorce or loss,

I work collaboratively with you to build trust, strengthen relationships, and support healing. I help my clients confront emotional overwhelm, school stress, identity exploration, or communication difficulties within their relationships.

I provide a warm and supportive space where my clients feel seen and valued, and where parents feel empowered and involved. My goal is to help individuals grow while honoring each of their unique voices and experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to the unique needs of each client.

My style is relational, empathetic, and trauma-informed. I strive to create an inclusive, affirming space where every person feels welcome. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or a loved one. I’m here to walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and connection.

What you can expect from me

Clear goals guide my work, often co-created with families. These include:

  • Improving emotional regulation and coping skills
  • Strengthening parent-child relationships
  • Reducing anxiety, depression, or behavioral concerns
  • Supporting healing from trauma or loss
  • Increasing confidence and social-emotional awareness
  • Increase communication and intimacy between partners.

I maintain a trauma-informed, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment that values every person's individuality and voice. I believe that therapy should be a safe, empowering, and connected experience—and I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, clarity, and care.
