Maria Ngangha

Maria Ngangha meets dual licensure requirements in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Counseling licensure. She is a National Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Maria has extensive experience working in the field with modalities such as the following: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, well informed Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and CASOCUS-II certified. Maria Ngangha works with children and adolescents who struggle with depression, anxiety, and self-harm. Maria Ngangha enjoys working with families and couples as well. Maria’s passion is working with families who struggle with depression, anxiety, and family systems issues.

Maria’s main goals for her patients include reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, reducing distress symptoms overall in their lives, as well as improving overall well-being, and promoting personal growth and resilience.

Maria believes that her experience with clients overall have proven long term results in their lives overall. Maria believes that giving an empathetic listening ear provides the atmosphere to allow emotional, physical, and mental healing internally and externally.

Maria provides a welcoming therapeutic atmosphere for all clients. Rapport building is one of her strong traits when working with families and individuals. The office or Telehealth is available for client's to choose their setting for treatment.
