Great to meet you!

I am a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I focus on caring for Individuals and Couples, 16 years and over, treating anxiety, depression, relationship, career, parenting and marital concerns. I have a background in disabilities and education including childhood, college and special education. I provide a safe and validating environment that is more conversational. I believe clients are most successful when they are invested in their own treatment.

My approach to therapy

For the benefit of my clients, I use a balanced eclectic approach that includes trauma -informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. In each session I seek to validate my clients and provide supportive listening to encourage insight and self-awareness.

What you can expect from me

My clients should feel validated, cared for and respected. Previous clients have reported, that over time, they have learned to self reflect and better manage their feelings which increases their feeling of empowerment and overall well being.
