Great to meet you!

I am a Salvadoran-American Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides individual, family and group therapy in English and Spanish. I received my Master of Social Work from Columbia University and have had the privilege of empowering clients for over 12 years. I also love to teach and serve as Adjunct Faculty at FIU School of Social Work.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to podcasts and stand-up comedy, dancing Zumba, and reading fiction.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in working with first and second-generation immigrants and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I work with adults and utilize evidence-based clinical interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Bowen Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, and Sand Tray therapy.

What you can expect from me

I create a warm environment in which clients can share their concerns and hopes, without fear of judgement. I help you identify specific goals and, also recognize the many strengths and skills you already have.
