Maria Valencia

My name is Terry Valencia, I have experience working with children ages 1 and up with history of trauma. My background work consists of working with children, teens, women and veterans. Issues such as self-esteem, history of trauma or abuse, anxiety, depression, and PTSD are addressed in my sessions. I have a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and training in Trauma Focused Therapy.

My style is holistic including and treating individuals as a whole. Approaching clients with a non-judgmental attitude is important to me. Listening to client's stories and helping individuals find their purpose is my Passion!

After our first session the client will think of the goals they want to achieve in therapy. Clients will be guided through this self-discovery journey with empathy and compassion.
