Great to meet you!

Are sleepless nights, constant worry, or past trauma stealing your peace? I help adults — especially veterans, first responders, and postpartum moms — reclaim calm, confidence, and purpose. With over 18 years of healthcare experience, Dr. Wallace, a board certified PMHNP, offers both medication-management and therapy, creating a safe, trauma-informed space where your values, culture, and faith are honored. I take a caring, collaborative approach to ensure every patient feels heard, supported, and empowered in their treatment journey.

My clinical approach is centered on your individual goals, with an emphasis on collaboration and compassionate care. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD/ADD, substance use disorders, and sleep disorders. I also have experience supporting a diverse range of individuals, including (expecting/postpartum) mothers, Veterans, and Law Enforcement professionals.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental healthcare should be patient-centered, holistic, and trauma-informed. With a certification in Evidence-Based Practice, I focus on treatments that are truly tailored to you—because your needs are unique. Your values, culture, and faith matter - I make sure they are respected and integrated every step of the way.

I view goal setting as a collaborative process where we work together to determine what feels most important and realistic for you. Whether the focus is improving mood, managing symptoms, or strengthening coping skills - I believe in starting with small, achievable steps that build confidence and momentum over time. I check in regularly to ensure we are moving forward in a way that feels meaningful, supportive, and aligned with your values. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, understood, and supported in your progress.

What you can expect from me

I know that the intake process can feel overwhelming, so I strive to make our first session feel comfortable — more like talking with a trusted friend, but in a professional and supportive setting. During our initial visit, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your background, the things that matter most to you, and who supports you in life — even your pets’ names if you’d like to share!

Whether you’re a young adult finding your path, a parent adjusting to new transitions, or someone navigating later seasons of life, I am here to walk alongside you. We’ll explore what brought you here and begin shaping goals that feel achievable and meaningful. My hope is that you leave your first appointment feeling a sense of relief, understanding, and encouragement.
