Great to meet you!

I am licensed in Indiana and Nevada with 30 years of professional work experience engaging with children, Individuals, couples, and families. I have over 15 years working as a professional clinical counselor. I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, trauma and abuse, codependency, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I also have a great deal of experience with helping teens. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to first meet each person where they are in life. I believe that therapy is a personal journey and should go at the pace that each person has the capacity to handle. My style is direct, humorous, and goal oriented. I am non-judgmental and caring. My goal is for every client to feel heard and to have a partner to work through difficult situations in life.

What you can expect from me

First sessions are very important. After gathering essential information, it is important to listen and hear the goals for each client for being in therapy. Also, the first session is a time to set ground rules and to get to understand expectations moving forward for both the client and therapist. I love meeting new people as well as enjoy being a therapist.
