Great to meet you!

I am a Florida licensed psychologist who enjoys helping young people learn valuable skills to navigate complex problems & emotions. I help teens and young adults figure out who they are, what they want, and how to live authentically.

More information about my services can be found at www.obpsychology.com

My approach to therapy

I offer a collaborative, personalized, and skills-based approach focused on meeting your goals. I believe therapy is grounded in a genuine relationship, followed by use of evidence-based strategies to get you where you want to go. Skills I teach are informed by advanced training in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other behavioral approaches. I also take a culturally-sensitive approach in working with all individuals.

What you can expect from me

We'll spend time getting to know one another and come up with a specific plan for our time together. I also give direct feedback about what I'm seeing and what I think could be helpful. My patients find my transparent approach comforting and refreshing. Future sessions are collaboratively focused on your needs and focused heavily in learning new skills that I'll ask you to practice outside of our sessions. I like to work as a team and I love to cheer you on and celebrate the wins.
