Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Mariana and have clinical expertise in the treatment of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and body image issues.

I earned an M.S. in Counseling at the University of Oregon and completed my undergraduate work at UC Santa Barbara and Indiana University where I was a student athlete in women’s swimming.

Besides being a therapist, I enjoy fostering senior rescue dogs, painting, learning how to golf, practicing yoga, and enjoying the live music scene in San Francisco.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My goal is to help you build a healthier relationship with food, your body, and yourself. Therapy can help you understand the underlying emotions and triggers driving your eating behaviors.

What you can expect from our first session

My aim is to empower you with practical skills and strategies to manage your emotions without food, improve your body image, and increase your self-esteem.
