Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Marie! —an inclusive psychotherapist, fellow human, and someone who knows that real healing involves more than meditation and breathing exercises (though, if that's your thing, I'm all for it). With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I work with a diverse range of individuals and couples navigating complex trauma, childhood wounds, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I’m an affirming, culturally responsive therapist who proudly welcomes clients of all ages, identities, and backgrounds, with a deep commitment to serving BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My strengths-based practice offers a safe, supportive space while simultaneously helping clients recognize and gently challenge beliefs or dynamics that no longer serve them. I integrate relational and psychodynamic interventions to help you increase insight, improve communication, and address long-standing barriers that disrupt your emotional functioning.

Whether it’s anxiety that refuses to take a day off, relationships stuck in a never-ending loop, or trauma and depression making mornings feel like an Olympic event, you don’t have to go through it alone. No filters, no masks, no judgment.

What you can expect from our first session

My approach is trauma-informed and eclectic, tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based modalities including psychodynamic therapy, CBT, ACT, and more. I believe that meaningful, lasting change is possible when therapy is grounded in safety, trust, collaboration, and a little humor—and I’m here to walk that path with you.
