Marie Arlia is a licensed mental health counselor in the State of New York. She graduated from SUNY Old Westbury with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Mental Health from Rider University and a Master’s degree in Education from Hofstra University.

Marie has successfully worked with a wide spectrum of individuals, including the recently incarcerated, substance abuse issues , anxiety, anger management, issues with self-worth, relationships, life transitions, and grief.

My approach to therapy

I tailor the treatment of each individual client to meet their own needs, and in collaboration we develop a protocol for treatment that is not only effective, but reflects your personal goals and values utilize an eclectic, evidence-based approach that includes CBT, and mindfulness-based interventions that encourage growth while simultaneously accepting you for who you are. I look forward to working with you.
