Marie Carnine

I am an LPC who is dedicated to helping infants, children, youth, and adults overcome challenging life moments. I specialize in trauma recovery for all ages.

I hold a MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. My experience in trauma recovery includes an internship at a child advocacy center and residential treatment center for adults, work at a foster adoption agency, private practice, a church counseling center, and as a mental health consultant for ages 0 - 3 with ECI.

I consider it an honor to be trusted with your story as a client and to have the opportunity to support you in your quest for healing. For those who are comfortable with biblical integration, a faith-based approach is offered. I have experience utilizing play therapy, TBRI parenting support, CBT, CPT, TF-CBT, and person-centered therapy.

My clients find I do a lot of listening in the sessions and will ask reflective questions before providing feedback. Rather than giving advice, it is my hope that together we journey towards meeting client goals and objectives of healing and wholeness.
