Great to meet you!

I work with adults of all ages and have a special interest in supporting older adults, as well as people experiencing life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, or spiritual concerns. For clients who desire it, I integrate spirituality and the Christian faith into the therapeutic process in ways that are meaningful and respectful of each person's faith. In addition to being a therapist, I am also an ordained minister who works with people of various faiths.

As a member of the LGBTQ community, I am committed to providing an affirming environment for LGBTQ individuals. I recognize that navigating identity, relationships, family dynamics, and faith can be complex. I strive to create a space where every person feels respected, valued, and empowered to live authentically.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing happens when people feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. I provide a collaborative space where we can explore life's challenges, and reconnect to a sense of purpose. Regarding modalities, I use Emotional Freedom Technique and mindfulness based therapy.

What you can expect from me

I would like to bring curiosity to the first therapy session. I believe it is crucial that I have an openness and sense of curiosity about my clients' experiences. Authenticity is also an important strength. I want to bring the real me into the first therapy session, and want you to feel comfortable being yourself. In addition, I want to tailor therapy to your specific needs and wishes. I want you to have time during the first session to ask questions. There is no "one size fits all" therapy approach or modality.
