I am a triple board-certified psychiatrist specializing in Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Perinatal Psychiatry, as well as Obesity Medicine. I am a medical doctor who trained at Albert Einstein Medical Center (General Psychiatry residency) and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship), where I served as chief resident and chief fellow. My practice, Dona Wellness Clinic, primarily utilizes telepsychiatry to offer accessible, compassionate, and inclusive care to individuals across Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., and North Carolina. • Integrated Strategies: I often incorporate lifestyle modifications, behavioral strategies, supportive therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and psychodynamic techniques alongside medication management when necessary.
• Collaborative Care: I believe in treating the whole person rather than just symptoms, focusing on preventative care and building long-term relationships.
• Conservative Prescribing: I maintain a conservative approach to prescriptions and uses controlled medications judiciously. Medications are not guaranteed during the first appointment; subsequent check-ins are required to monitor progress.

• Goal: The initial appointment is a dedicated time to connect, discuss your history, current concerns, and goals for treatment to begin building a path forward.
• Process:
  • For Adults: This is a 50–60 minute session.
  • For Children and Adolescents: This involves two separate sessions (60 minutes and 45 minutes) that include the guardian, time with the child alone, and a concluding session with everyone together.
• Evaluation Focus: The first appointment centers on gathering general information and history. Please note that medications are not typically prescribed during this initial visit, as I require a thorough evaluation to ensure safe and appropriate care
