Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health counselor and a person of color with experience working in both clinical and school-based settings, supporting children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in trauma-centered care and approach therapy with cultural humility, respect, and lived understanding. My practice is grounded in evidence-based modalities while honoring each client’s lived experience and strengths. I believe clients are the captains of their own journey, and I am honored to walk alongside them with care, curiosity, and compassion.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-centered, collaborative, and client-led. I use evidence-based practices while honoring each client’s lived experience, cultural identity, and strengths. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives and set the pace for our work together. My role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space and walk alongside clients with care, curiosity, and compassion as they navigate their healing journey.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive space and a clinician who is fully present and ready to support them in whatever way feels most helpful. We will focus on getting to know one another, discussing what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns or questions you may have. I will also explain how therapy works and collaborate with you to identify next steps at a pace that feels right for you. There is no pressure to share everything at once—our first session is about building comfort, trust, and clarity.
