Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Marie. I am a licensed clinical social worker with 5+ years of experience. I was born and raised in Chicago, IL and moved to Texas about 2 years ago. I have experience working with all age ranges and at different levels of care. I have worked in residential, PHP/IOP, and outpatient settings. I strongly believe in a holistic approach and I am always open to learning new things. I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your healing journey!

My approach to therapy

I believe in meeting my clients where they are at to develop goals that are both achievable and foster room for growth. My approach is warm, patient, and interactive. I provide active listening, empathy, and knowledge to every session. I believe working together is very important.

What you can expect from me

Our first session together will be focused on getting to know each other and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. We will discuss goals, challenges, and expectations. I will ask you some questions to help me better understand your background, relationships, and goals. We will work together to identify the specific issues you'd like to work on and I will explain the therapeutic approach we will be using. Lastly, I am open to answering any questions you may have.
