Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Marie. I’m an independently Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio with over 16 years of experience helping adults and couples navigate life’s challenges. I offer both in-person sessions in Maumee (Toledo area) and secure virtual therapy across Ohio, giving you flexible options to get the support you need.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I provide a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly, make sense of what you’re going through, and begin to feel more grounded and in control.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. We’ll focus on what matters most to you—whether that’s managing anxiety, improving relationships, working through past experiences, or simply feeling more like yourself again. Together, we’ll build tools and strategies you can actually use in your day-to-day life, not just in session.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. If you’re ready for change—or even just curious about what support could look like—I’d be glad to connect and see if we’re a good fit.

My approach to therapy

In my practice, I use a multi-theory approach tailored to your current concerns. This includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy, among others. I truly believe in the power and strength of the mind and its ability to influence and change our behaviors. By transforming negative or disruptive thinking patterns, we can interrupt, challenge, and change behavioral patterns to more positive or desirable ones.

What you can expect from me

Mental health issues can take a toll on our bodies, which is why I also believe in a holistic outlook. When our emotions and behaviors are struggling, our entire being is likely struggling as well. Getting your mental health back on track can help your whole body feel good again. Together, we can tackle whatever you're struggling with, so you can go out into the world with the tools to help you cope and be your best self. Let's work together to help you bloom where you're planted!
