Great to meet you!

Welcome to my profile! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York and Texas with over 30 years of experience in mental health, substance abuse/misuse and have experience with first responder and military populations. I graduated with a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) Social Work from Yeshiva University, an Advanced Clinical Social Worker Certificate from New York University, an MSW from Adelphi University, and a BS in Psychology from Long Island University in New York.

My approach to therapy

I use a person-centered, trauma-informed approach tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Each person has a unique perspective and set of core beliefs around their experience of life. Through exploration of these perspectives and beliefs one can connect to the truth within themselves in the present moment, become free from self-generated suffering, and gain insight, clarity and choice in their behavior.

What you can expect from me

At the end of each session, you will either add new or review the goals you have previously set in past sessions.
