Great to meet you!

Sometimes the thing you are most afraid to look at is the exact thing that sets you free. I am Marie, an LMHC, National Certified Counselor, and Qualified Supervisor with more than 20 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across Florida. I specialize in anxiety, substance use and recovery, anger management, trauma, bipolar disorder, and the relationship patterns that keep people cycling through the same pain. For clients who want it, I also offer faith-integrated counseling that weaves Christian values into the therapeutic process without judgment.

My approach to therapy

Meaningful healing begins with understanding the beliefs, patterns, and internal contradictions that keep people feeling stuck. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, direct, and compassionate. I draw from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Gestalt, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Paradoxical Intervention to tailor the approach to what you actually need. I will not just reflect your words back at you. I will help you see what you cannot yet see about yourself, and give you practical tools to do something with it.

What you can expect from me

A real conversation with someone who has heard hard things before and will not flinch. You bring your story. I bring 20 years of knowing what to do with it.
