Great to meet you!

Hi there, my name is Marie and I have years of experience specializing in anxiety, depression, addiction and impulse control. I bring a wealth of knowledge for both your substance use, process addictions as well as couples and family therapy.

Attending to our mental wellbeing is the first step towards an improved life - my goal is to help you make that a reality with my experience. I have worked with individuals in regular community as well as with incarcerated individuals. My goal is to listen to your needs and to meet your where you are at without judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach is Client-focused. I will work with clients' uniqueness to create a treatment plan that works towards your specific goals. Each person is an individual and that is taken into account using a Psychoanalytical approach in initial discussions, but varying treatment modalities are used as determined by the level of care you require.

What you can expect from me

Clients should expect to feel heard and expect to work towards their strategic plan. Your overall goal will be broken into smaller goals to help you "eat that elephant one bite a time." Sometimes the only way to work from a place of feeling overwhelmed is to prioritize and focus on one thing at a time. Therapy uses systems to help us live our lives this way.
