Hi, I'm Marie a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) fluent in English and Haitian Creole. I work with adolescents and adults of all genders who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief.
My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and deeply rooted in cultural humility. I believe every person carries within them an innate capacity for healing, my role is to help you access it. Whether you're carrying the weight of past wounds, struggling through a painful season, or simply trying to find solid ground again, I will walk alongside you with compassion, advocacy, and genuine commitment to your well-being.
As a Qualified Trauma Facilitator and Targeted Case Manager, I bring a whole-person, holistic lens to our work together. I don't just provide a service; I advocate for your rights, coordinate care when needed, and help you build the resilience to not just survive, but thrive.
My career in social work began in 2012 during my undergraduate training at the University of Akron. Over the past 14 years, I have worked across community mental health, pre-licensure clinical settings, and now fully licensed telehealth practice, bringing both academic grounding and real-world professional wisdom to every client I serve.
I was born in Haiti and have a deep personal connection to the Haitian diaspora and immigrant communities in South Florida and beyond. My bilingual fluency allows me to serve clients who have historically faced barriers to affirming mental health care. I offer telehealth sessions with evening and weekend availability. If you're ready to take that first step, I'd be honored to be part of your journey.
