Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with more than 19 years of experience supporting infants, children, adolescents, adults, and families through life’s challenges. My practice is grounded in a compassionate, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach, where I create a safe, welcoming space for each client to feel heard, understood, and valued.

I believe that healing begins with a trusting therapeutic relationship and that every person has unique strengths, experiences, and capacity for growth. I support clients navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, family challenges, and life transitions, while honoring each person’s individual pace and goals.

I utilize approaches including CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I believe in meeting each client where they are, helping them develop greater self-understanding, build resilience, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized. I create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.

Focusing on building trusting therapeutic relationships, understanding the client's needs, supporting clients through trauma and life challenges, and helping individuals and families recognize their strengths and develop practical tools for positive change. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped to develop meaningful skills and achieve positive change.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is a chance for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting, supportive therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you may be experiencing, and what you hope to accomplish through counseling.

I’ll learn more about your personal history, relationships, strengths, and current challenges so I can better understand your unique needs. Together, we’ll identify meaningful goals and develop a treatment approach that feels comfortable and appropriate for you.

You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly where to begin. We’ll take it one step at a time, at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.
