Great to meet you!

My clinical experience has primarily involved working with school-aged children and their families. As I continue to grow professionally, I look forward to expanding my experience working with adult clients. I particularly enjoy providing both individual and family therapy and have experience facilitating group therapy. I am interested in further developing my group counseling skills, as I believe there is significant value in helping individuals recognize that they are not alone in their struggles and fostering a sense of connection and support.

I also have experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and supporting their parents and caregivers. Additionally, I am trauma-informed and have specialized training in understanding the impact of trauma on both the mind and body. I have completed EMDR Level 1 training and am committed to continuing my professional development in evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Throughout my life, I have been a compassionate and active listener. I am passionate about helping others overcome challenges, build resilience, and become the best versions of themselves.

My approach to therapy

I frequently incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my practice while maintaining a person-centered approach tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. Together, we will explore the therapeutic strategies that best support your individual journey. CBT helps individuals understand how their thoughts, beliefs, and past experiences influence their emotions and behaviors. I believe that individuals possess the capacity for growth and healing when provided with empathy, support, and a collaborative therapeutic environment.

What you can expect from me

During the initial session, my focus is on building rapport and gaining a thorough understanding of the client's concerns, goals, and expectations for therapy. I strive to learn what brings the client to counseling, what they hope to achieve, and how they envision their future. Together, we will explore how the therapeutic process can support their personal growth and help them work toward meaningful change.
