Great to meet you!

I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP) from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and am board-certified (PMHNP-BC, DNP). My education and training equipped me with advanced skills in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment. This allows me to provide individualized care for adults with a variety of mental health concerns. I provide compassionate, collaborative care tailored to your individual needs. I believe mental health treatment is most effective when we look at the whole person—not just symptoms.

I became a PMHNP because I am deeply committed to helping individuals feel heard, seen, supported, and empowered throughout their mental health journey. My background in nursing shaped my holistic approach, recognizing and appreciating the important connection between our mental and physical health.

I have experience providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management in both outpatient and Telehealth settings. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and life transitions.

I am committed to person-centered assessments, clear communication, and building strong therapeutic client-provider relationships that are grounded in trust. If you are seeking a provider who combines clinical expertise with compassion and partnership, I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward your well-deserved, improved mental wellness.

My approach combines evidence-based medication management with psycho-education and supportive therapy techniques. I ensure that all sessions are grounded in trauma-informed care. I strive to create a culturally sensitive, non-judgmental space for clients feel safe and respected. My goal is to provide individualized, compassionate care that promotes stability, resilience, and lasting well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a supportive and structured environment, focused on understanding you as a whole person. This appointment typically includes a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where we will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, as well as treatment goals.

I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, while ensuring you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, meaning I prioritize creating a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space.

We will also review any previous treatments or medications and explore what has or hasn’t been helpful. By the end of the session, we will discuss any diagnostic impressions and develop a personalized treatment plan together. This may include medication management, therapy recommendations, or lifestyle strategies.

My goal is for you to feel heard, informed, and confident about the next steps in your care.
