Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Marielle, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Birth Doula, and Certified Lactation Specialist. I understand that taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create a warm, compassionate space where you feel safe, heard, and supported.

I take an empowered, holistic, and person-centered approach, recognizing that our mental and emotional well-being is connected to our bodies, relationships, life experiences, and environment. I believe you are the expert on your own experience, and I work collaboratively with you to better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns while developing practical tools for meaningful change.

I support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, and emotional overwhelm. I have a particular interest in supporting women and parents navigating pregnancy, the prenatal and postpartum periods, motherhood, parenting stress, maternal mental health, and birth-related experiences.

I also support clients working through perfectionism, boundaries, self-worth, emotional regulation, and reconnecting with their sense of identity. Whether you feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or ready for personal growth, therapy can provide a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

Together, we can build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and cultivate greater self-compassion, balance, and inner peace.

My approach to therapy

My approach emphasizes mindfulness, self-discovery, radical acceptance, and the importance of meaningful connection and community. I strive to meet each client where they are and provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as your authentic self.

You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. Therapy can be a place to pause, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and intention. I would be honored to support you on your journey.

What you can expect from me

During our time together, we’ll get to know one another and talk about what brings you to therapy. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with—there is no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. We’ll explore your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for my approach and decide whether therapy with me feels like a good fit. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and creating a path forward that feels supportive and personalized to your needs.

My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a better sense of how we can work together on your journey toward healing and growth.
