I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Georgia. My clinical background is working with Severe & Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), Trauma (civilian, military, and veteran), inter-racial/ethnic relationships, refugee, ethnic minority, immigrant, and other marginalized communities, including LGBTQIA+. I am trained in Somatic Experiencing, Somatic Stress Release, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

I use a psychosomatic & psychotherapeutic approach. The journeys my life have taken informs my clinical lens: how resilience emerges in us even as we navigate traumatic events in our lives. This leads me to work extensively with the intersections of trauma in relationships, mood, depression, anxiety, gender and identity, sexuality. Clients learn to explore how trauma influences our intrinsic values, how it manifests across the spectrum of our relationships, and our psychosocial contexts.

As a client, you will gain an understanding of how to manage or even resolve trauma-based stress responses, to accept your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without judgement or avoidance and to move through difficult emotions and toward the vision you have for yourself or your life.
