Great to meet you!

I have over 15 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Whether you’re coming to therapy as an individual, a couple, or a family, I provide a supportive space where you can explore your emotions, build coping strategies, and move toward meaningful growth.

I’ve worked in both educational and clinical settings, including as a special education teacher, hospital social worker, and counseling intern at a neurobehavioral treatment center. This allows me to take a grounded, trauma-informed approach that looks at the whole picture My practice is unique because of the diverse experiences I bring to the therapy room.

I’m passionate about this work because I’ve dedicated my career to helping others find stability, healing, and hope. It’s deeply meaningful to me to walk alongside people through life’s challenges, and I’m committed to creating a space where you feel truly seen, supported, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

At Marietta Green Therapy, I offer a warm, collaborative, and client-centered approach to therapy. I believe that healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and compassion. My style is supportive and strengths-based—I meet clients where they are, while gently guiding them toward growth, insight, and lasting change.

I specialize in working with teens and families using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed techniques. Whether we're working through anxiety, depression, life transitions, or emotional regulation challenges, I tailor each session to your unique goals and needs. I strive to create a safe and affirming space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Therapy with me is an active, collaborative process—we explore patterns, build skills, and develop practical tools you can use in everyday life. My goal is to help you not only feel better, but build resilience and a deeper understanding of yourself.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling more understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and affirming space where clients—especially teens and families—can be themselves and explore what’s holding them back without fear or pressure.

My goal is to help clients build insight, emotional awareness, and effective coping strategies. Together, we work toward improving self-esteem, communication skills, and emotional regulation. Whether we’re unpacking difficult experiences or building new habits, clients often walk away with greater clarity, confidence, and a sense of control over their lives.

Each session is grounded in collaboration and growth. I focus on creating an environment that fosters resilience, healing, and lasting change—at your pace, on your terms.
