Great to meet you!

As an experienced psychotherapist, I believe that an empathic approach creates an environment, in which, trust and curiosity can flourished, facilitating the adjustment to an already difficult process. The relationship between psychotherapist and patient constitutes an important tool, in the understanding of patient's past and present behaviors.

My approach to therapy

As a trained specialist, I work with adults, older adults, caregivers of loved ones suffering from cognitive impairments, as well as, adults from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. As a psychotherapist, my approach centers on providing, long term psychodynamic psychotherapy for those who are afflicted by depression, Anxiety, Relationship conflicts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RcgBC5Noa4 ). Caregiver issues, Adjustment to a new culture, Trauma, Loss or grief.

What you can expect from me

The patients that come to see me can expect to grow emotionally, as they become more aware and curious about their lives. They can expect to know themselves better, enrich their lives, and to alleviate their emotional pain. By fostering a better understanding of their past, they would identify patterns that would help them to create a healthier life.
