My name is Marija — sounds like Maria — I am a trauma focused therapists licensed in Florida. My professional background began in a crisis stabilization setting, working with people from all backgrounds, experiences, and professions. I support individuals facing personal and work-related stress that impacts their mental health whether you are a first responder, an athlete, or domestic violence victim, I am here to help you navigate your unique personal challenges with my holistic approach.

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and client-centered. I believe you are the expert of your own story, and I’m here to honor your values, goals, and lived experiences as we work together.

My practice incorporates EMDR, Somatic Therapy, and Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR), as well TF-CBT, mindfulness, and other evidence based approaches which I use to help clients process and release the effects of difficult life experiences. I support people struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction — substance abuse, workaholism, gaming, etc. — , by creating a safe and compassionate space where healing can unfold.

My role is to plant a seed of healing and growth, creating a safe space where you can reconnect with your strengths and move forward with resilience.

In our first session, my priority is to create a safe, loving and non-judgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. It will focus on getting to know you, understanding your current challenges, and exploring what you'd like to achieve through therapy.
