Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Marilyn Hancock, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. Growing up with undiagnosed ADHD and dyslexia, I understand how difficult it can feel when the world doesn’t seem built for you. That experience fuels my passion for supporting neurodiverse adults, including those with ADHD, dyslexia, or on the autism spectrum, as well as individuals navigating anxiety, grief, PTSD, or depression. My approach is compassionate and collaborative—I’ll meet you where you are, honor your unique story, and help you build the tools and confidence to move forward. Together, we’ll work toward healing, growth, and creating a life you truly love.

My approach to therapy

My style is compassionate, warm, and client-centered. I offer unconditional positive regard and deep empathy, .I believe your story matters, and together we explore it at your pace while building insight, resilience, and self-trust. I am not afraid to tackle the tough issues with you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together we will start with a brief introduction, and then dive into the challenges you are facing. Together we will devise a plan that will help you meet your goals.
