Dr. Marilyn Sails

Hello, I am Dr. Marilyn L. Sails, the owner and licensed practitioner with Comfort Care Counseling with Dr. Sails. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting older adults and families through life’s most tender transitions. I hold both a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) and a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Kentucky. I have dedicated my career to helping patients navigate grief, trauma, chronic illness, and end-of-life concerns with dignity and compassion. My practice, Comfort Care Counseling, is rooted in Christian faith and designed especially for adults 50 and older. Whether we meet via telehealth or in the comfort of your home, you’ll find a safe, supportive space where emotional healing and spiritual restoration go hand in hand.

My therapeutic approach blends clinical expertise with deep empathy and spiritual care. I believe emotional healing is most powerful when it’s grounded in grace, compassion, and biblical wisdom. I will walk alongside clients as they process grief, adjust to life changes, and rediscover peace and purpose. Each session is tailored to honor your story, your faith, and your emotional needs.
