Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Marilynn Minich, LCSW. I’m a licensed clinical social worker with an MSW and experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, grief, life transitions, and other challenging experiences. My professional background has given me the opportunity to work with people navigating complex emotional and life circumstances, and I bring that experience into my practice with warmth, compassion, and genuine curiosity.

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, understood without judgment, and supported in making meaningful changes. I especially enjoy helping clients better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may have developed from past experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I draw from cognitive behavioral and attachment-based approaches to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, experiences, and relationships. I believe that understanding where our patterns come from can create greater self-awareness and open the door to meaningful change.

I strive to create a warm, affirming environment where clients feel comfortable exploring difficult experiences while also developing practical tools to move forward. Together, we will identify your goals, build on your strengths, and work at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re experiencing, what you hope to gain from therapy, and the areas of your life you would like to better understand or change.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before we begin. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can be yourself and feel heard. We’ll work together to identify meaningful goals and develop a plan that fits your needs.
