Welcome! My name is Marina Dormer, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have specialized training in eating disorders, addiction, EMDR, and couples therapy. I am also an adjunct professor and teach Master’s level courses on sexuality, addiction, cultural competency and trauma counseling.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist my initial focus is providing you with unconditional respect as I strive to understand your life experiences. Together we create a treatment plan that meets your needs. I offer a menu of treatment modalities which include EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and couples/family therapy that focuses on improving the system as a whole. I am trained as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor and provide simultaneous addiction and mental health treatment.
