Great to meet you!

If anxiety, depression, trauma, or stress has been weighing you down, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m Marina Escobar, a Licensed Professional Counselor with 11 years of experience supporting individuals and families through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, stress, and major life changes.

I work with clients across different stages of life and understand that everyone’s experiences and goals are unique. My style is empowering, affirming, and open-minded, and I strive to create a space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and be your authentic self without judgment.

My goal is to help you feel more grounded, strengthen your confidence, improve your relationships, and develop practical tools to create a healthier, more fulfilling life. I also offer therapy in both English and Spanish.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and focused on helping you make meaningful progress. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Behavioral Therapy to help you understand your experiences, build healthier patterns, and develop practical skills.

Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and goals while creating a treatment plan that fits your needs. Whether you’re working through anxiety, trauma, grief, anger, relationship concerns, or a major life transition, I’ll meet you where you are and help you identify realistic steps toward the changes you want to make.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, understand what brought you to therapy, and talk about what you hope to accomplish. We’ll discuss your current concerns, your goals, and what support would be most helpful for you.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. We’ll take the time to understand where you are and create a plan together that feels realistic and meaningful.

My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and more confident about taking the next step toward feeling like yourself again.
