Great to meet you!

I am a psychoanalytically trained therapist who integrates evidence-based techniques with neuroscience and human physiology to help clients understand themselves on a deeper level. My approach focuses on aligning life with personal strengths, needs, and values while using emotions as a guide to unmet needs. I believe that emotions are not obstacles but important signals that can lead to healing and change.

I have experience working with diverse populations, including individuals struggling with addiction, trauma, life transitions, and mental health challenges. I also have a deep appreciation for working with older adults, helping them reconnect with their past and find meaning in the present.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, I enjoy using projective techniques like cinematherapy, where films and storytelling serve as tools for self-reflection and emotional exploration. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients can uncover unconscious patterns, resolve inner conflicts, and develop healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

My scientific background deeply informs my therapeutic approach. I integrate psychoanalysis with evidence-based techniques, guided by my knowledge of human physiology and neuroscience. I help people align their lives with their strengths, needs, and values—unblocking repressed emotions and using feelings as a guide to unmet needs. I believe emotions are not obstacles to overcome but signals pointing toward what requires healing.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for the client to leave sessions with a deep sense of being supported, understood, and accepted for who they truly are—and, just as importantly, knowing that they deserve it. Through our therapeutic relationship, they will experience a model of a healthy, attuned connection that can serve as a guide for building more mature and fulfilling relationships in their own lives.
