Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel like a significant step on your spiritual journey. I congratulate you on taking this courageous step, and I'm here to ensure that it is both meaningful and transformative for you. I specialize in working with individuals navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals. I’m here to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can be yourself. Together, we can embrace the diverse tapestry of your experiences and celebrate the unique journey that lies ahead.

My approach to therapy

With over 25 years of experience in Behavioral Health treatment, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals facing severe and chronic mental illness, along with various co-occurring challenges. My inclusive practice is dedicated to understanding and addressing the unique adversities and variables each person encounters, ensuring a compassionate and personalized approach to care. As a client-centered, holistic provider, I am dedicated to supporting and encouraging individuals while facilitating meaningful changes in their lives. My objective is to help clients achieve their treatment goals and desires from our first meeting through to discharge. You will find, I provide easily integrated skills for sustainable well-being throughout life, ensuring that each person can actualize their own vision of living well, in a tangible and achievable manner.

What you can expect from me

First encounters with me often feel like meeting with an old friend with whom you are sharing stories of triumph and dismay. Often I receive feedback that I am engaging and easy to talk to, where my gentle sarcasm, intermittent humor, and vibrant use of imagery, often sets one into a place of ease. It is vitally important that those I encounter are left with hope; An eagerness to begin the most fascinating journey they never knew they needed, back to the self. Upon initial history gathering, I engage an interview style, exploring the manner one perceives the world around them, the primary relationships in their life, and their future aspirations, rather than focusing only on symptoms and challenges. It is from this vantage point the observation of challenges manifests naturally, limiting reinforcements of societal conditions, often not supportive of one's wellness. Many find this calm and "less clinical" approach, an oasis in an abyss of previous uncertainty.
