Great to meet you!

Hi, and welcome — I’m truly glad you’re here. Reaching out for therapy takes courage, especially when you, your child, or your relationship may be carrying the weight of trauma, anxiety, disconnection, or cultural pressures that can feel confusing or hard to name. If you’re here, something inside you is hoping for relief, clarity, or change — and that matters. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your teen, your child, or as a couple, you’ve already taken a meaningful first step toward healing.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in working with trauma and use EMDR to help clients process painful experiences that continue to impact the present. I also integrate CBT to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, DBT to strengthen emotional regulation and distress tolerance skills, and EFT to support deeper emotional connection in relationships. Trauma can live in the body, in relationships, and in the beliefs we carry about ourselves. Together, we move at a pace that feels safe and steady, helping your nervous system feel more regulated and your sense of self more grounded and integrated. For parents, I understand how painful it can be to watch your child struggle and feel unsure how to help. For couples, I work to interrupt negative cycles and foster safety, understanding, and reconnection. I approach therapy through a culturally responsive and identity-affirming lens. Culture, family expectations, immigration experiences, neurodivergence, and intergenerational patterns all shape how we cope, relate, and heal. My work is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique story. Healing happens in safe relationships — and you don’t have to do this alone.

What you can expect from me

After your first therapy session, it’s completely normal to experience a mix of emotions — relief, curiosity, vulnerability, or even emotional or physical tiredness. Beginning this process is a meaningful step, and it’s okay if new thoughts or feelings surface afterward. That often means important work has started.

In our upcoming sessions, we’ll continue building trust, clarifying your goals, and developing tools and strategies to support your growth. Some sessions may feel lighter and hopeful, while others may touch deeper emotions — both are natural parts of healing. We’ll move at a pace that feels steady and manageable for you.

I’m here to walk alongside you, offering support, guidance, and a safe space as you continue this journey.
