Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m Marina, and I’m so glad you’re here. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership built on trust, honesty, and compassion. My goal is to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and comfortable showing up as their authentic selves without fear of judgment.

I view each client as the expert on their own life and believe people already carry many strengths within them, even during seasons where they may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. I value authenticity in the therapy relationship and strive to meet clients with warmth, curiosity, and respect as we work together toward meaningful growth and healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized to each client’s unique needs and experiences. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities and integrate a strengths-based and systems-oriented perspective into my work. I believe healing is influenced not only by the individual, but also by the relationships, environments, and larger systems surrounding them.

I strive to provide care that is culturally responsive, thoughtful, and grounded in current research and best practices. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I work alongside clients to better understand patterns, build insight, develop coping tools, and create lasting, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and explore what has led you to seek support at this point in your life. We will discuss current concerns, important background information, and what you hope to gain from therapy, while also talking through any questions you may have about the process.

My goal during the first session is not for clients to have everything figured out, but rather to help create a comfortable starting point where they feel heard, understood, and supported as we begin building a plan together.
