Great to meet you!

Hello I'm Marina I am a board- certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I provide compassionate, evidence - base mental health care across lifespan. My background include inpatient psychiatric nursing, outpatient clinics, crisis stabilization, and community mental health settings. I have supported individuals facing mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, psychotic disorders, substance use challenges, and chronic mental illness. I earned my Bachelor of Science and my Master of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. I hold a Family Nurse practitioner Certification from American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. I have completed a post graduate Certificate from Palm Beach Atlantic University and I hold a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Certification from American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as well. I am passionate about holistic care that integrates medication management, psychotherapy and patient education. I specialize in treating patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and mood-related concerns, among others. I believe in building trusting therapeutic relationship and tailoring treatment plans to each individual's unique needs, goals, and values. I'm based in South Florida and offer both in-person and telehealth appointments, so care can fit into your life wherever you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a research-backed method that helps clients build psychological flexibility — learning to relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings rather than being controlled by them. I believe that medication, when indicated, works best alongside meaningful therapeutic work, not in place of it. I take a collaborative, non-judgmental stance: my goal is to understand your full picture — your history, your context, and what matters most to you — before we decide together what care looks like. I take particular care with clients navigating trauma, mood disorders, and the complex overlap between mental and physical health. Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis, seeking medication optimization, or pursuing long-term wellness, I am committed to supporting you with dignity, respect and expertise. I look forward to partnering with you on your mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a space for me to get to know you. I'll ask about what's brought you in, your history with mental health treatment, and what you're hoping to get out of working together. There's no pressure to have everything figured out — many clients come in unsure of exactly what they need, and that's completely okay. By the end of our first appointment, you'll have a clearer sense of my initial impressions, whether medication might be part of your care, and what a treatment plan could look like going forward. My intake appointments are 60 minutes, so there's plenty of time to talk.
