Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a dedicated focus on perinatal mental health. My work centers on supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, early parenthood, reproductive loss, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and other significant life transitions. Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental, with an emphasis on creating a space where you can feel comfortable being open and authentic. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach, we’ll focus on what feels most relevant to your experiences and goals. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Harvard University. I am currently pursuing the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. Whether you’re adjusting to a new stage of life, processing a difficult experience, or simply feeling overwhelmed by everything on your plate, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’ll meet you where you are and support you in moving forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered and collaborative, combining evidence-based strategies with an understanding of each client’s unique experiences. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and trauma-informed care, I help clients better understand patterns, manage difficult emotions, and strengthen coping skills. When helpful, I also incorporate psychoeducation and practical strategies, particularly when supporting clients through perinatal experiences, grief, anxiety, stress, and major life transitions. Together, we can move at a pace that feels manageable while working toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity to slow down, get to know one another, and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you hope to work on, and the areas of life that may be affecting your emotional well-being.

You’ll have space to share at a pace that feels comfortable while we explore relevant experiences, relationships, strengths, and current challenges. For clients navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, or other reproductive experiences, we may also discuss the emotional and practical changes that come with these transitions.

By the end of our first session, we’ll identify some initial goals and begin developing a plan for our work together. There’s no expectation that you have everything figured out before you begin. Our first session is simply a place to start.
