Great to meet you!

I genuinely love every minute of being a therapist. This work gives me a deep sense of purpose. Every day, I have the privilege of sitting with people from all walks of life, hearing their stories, and understanding the challenges they face. I listen intently and empathetically because your experiences matter, and your pain deserves space.

What drives me is the opportunity to walk alongside you as you navigate difficulties, heal old wounds, and build the life you want. Supporting you as you grow, learn, and overcome obstacles is meaningful to me. I don’t take lightly the trust you place in me when you share your fears, hopes, and vulnerabilities.

My role is not to judge or tell you what you want to hear — it’s to help you understand yourself more fully, challenge patterns that no longer serve you, and offer tools that support real change. I show up with honesty, compassion, and curiosity because you deserve a therapist who is fully present and invested in your progress.

Most importantly, I want you to know that therapy is a collaborative process. We work together. Your voice, your pace, and your goals guide the work we do. I’m here to support you, challenge you when needed, and celebrate your growth along the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, direct, and deeply grounded in empathy. I believe people heal best when they feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported — but also gently challenged when patterns are keeping them stuck. I work to create a space where you can explore your experiences openly, without judgment, and with the confidence that I’m fully present with you.

I integrate evidence‐based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma‐informed care, and skills‐based interventions for anxiety, communication, and emotional regulation. I don’t simply tell clients what they want to hear — I help them uncover what they need to understand in order to grow. That means asking thoughtful, sometimes difficult questions, offering honest reflections, and helping you see connections between past experiences and current struggles.

I view therapy as a partnership. You bring your lived experience, your strengths, and your goals. I bring clinical expertise, curiosity, and a commitment to helping you move toward clarity, stability, and meaningful change. Together, we identify what’s not working, build skills that support healthier patterns, and create a path forward that feels achievable and authentic.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a place where you don’t have to carry anything alone. I know that coming to therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’re dealing with pain, grief, loss, or uncertainty. My role in that first meeting is to help you feel safe, understood, and supported from the moment we begin.

You can expect me to listen closely and with genuine empathy. I want to understand what brought you here, what you’ve been carrying, and how your experiences have shaped the challenges you’re facing today. I don’t rush people through their stories — I give you space to talk, pause, feel, and reflect at your own pace.

We’ll explore what you’re hoping to work on, what feels most urgent, and what goals you want to move toward. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to help you clarify what you need, and I’ll be honest and direct in a way that supports your growth rather than simply telling you what you want to hear.
