Great to meet you!

When the worry, pain, or the fear of the present stands in front of us like a brick wall, what if we could see beyond it? What if we could stand on our toes and look OVER it? Would seeing what lies beyond the present change how it's affecting us?

When triggered by stressors, the genes we're born with can lead to anxiety, depression, mood swings, substance abuse, or suicidal thoughts. And in life, we may experience abuse, neglect, loss, poverty, trauma and situations that make us feel “stuck.”

My approach to therapy

Most of these stressors require support through therapy. Some respond better to medications. Whether it's ongoing therapy, medication, or a combination of the two, I will give you the evidence-based research. YOU will decide what's best for you!

What you can expect from me

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a PhD in clinical psychology, I have the formal knowledge and experience, but more importantly I've lived through most of the situations listed above. I have felt what you're feeling. I will help you see OVER the present and into a beautiful future.
