Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor serving Louisiana and Texas with over 15 years of experience supporting teens, young adults, and adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity development, and major life transitions. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and have worked in school‐based settings, community mental health, and private practice.

My approach is warm, open‐minded, and empowering. I use ACT, CBT, DBT‐informed strategies, Trauma‐Focused CBT, somatic regulation, and solution‐focused techniques to help clients build clarity, emotional balance, and practical coping skills. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and grounded, giving you space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface and move toward steadiness and growth.

If you’re navigating stress, uncertainty, or overwhelming emotions, I’m here to support you as you take the next step toward healing and resilience.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends cognitive‐behavioral strategies, acceptance‐based practices, and somatic regulation to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and build tools that support emotional balance. I use ACT, CBT, DBT‐informed skills, Trauma‐Focused CBT, and solution‐focused techniques to create a grounded, collaborative space where you can explore your experiences with openness and clarity.

In our work together, I focus on helping you notice patterns, strengthen awareness, and develop practical coping strategies that fit your life. Sessions are warm, empowering, and tailored to your needs—supporting you not only in feeling understood, but in gaining the skills and confidence to move forward with steadiness and resilience.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your experiences, strengths, and goals, and we’ll begin identifying the patterns or stressors that feel most important right now. You can expect a warm, open‐minded space where you can speak freely and feel heard without judgment.

We’ll also discuss what approaches might be most helpful for you — whether that’s ACT, CBT, DBT‐informed skills, somatic regulation, or solution‐focused strategies. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of direction and a collaborative plan for how we’ll move forward together.
