Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Maris, and I have a passion for working with women of all ages who may experience depression, anxiety, stress, and/or those reconciling histories of trauma. My style is warm, non judgmental, trauma informed, and, most importantly, collaborative. My initial goal is to build and nurture a strong rapport with you.

I have an eclectic approach when it comes to treatment modalities, which includes cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and examining attachment patterns.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is consistently collaborative. You are the expert in your life and we can learn a lot from each other on how to work towards your goals and healing. Building our rapport is foundational to any success, and it is my top priority always.

What you can expect from me

My clients come away from sessions feeling heard and understood, validated appropriately, challenged when necessary, enlightened through contemplative discussion, and empowered to make positive changes towards their goals. Our sessions could feel a variety of different ways, sometimes they'll feel super productive, other times cathartic, or possibly revelatory. My job is to always make you feel supported no matter how you feel when leaving our sessions.
