Great to meet you!

I've been working as a therapist since 2014, bringing over a decade of experience to my practice. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with diverse populations such as Spanish-speaking clients, the perinatal community, children and their families, and adults navigating various life transitions, behavioral and mental health concerns. I'm bilingual and committed to creating a space where everyone feels seen and supported. Currently, I work with adults via telehealth, and I'm dedicated to providing compassionate, effective care tailored to each person's unique needs.

My approach to therapy

I take a person-centered approach that's holistic, solution-oriented, and direct. I've been trained in a lot of treatment approaches, including CBT and motivational interviewing, and I draw from a wide range of evidence-based modalities. I'm a big believer that you are the expert on your own life. You already come in with certain strengths and skills that you may not necessarily know you have. My role is to help you recognize those strengths and then add any additional tools to your skill set that might be helpful. I'm just here to facilitate the conversation and support you in discovering what works best for you.

What you can expect from me

My goal in our first session is to make you as comfortable as possible. I know that for some people, taking that first step to go to therapy can be really hard, whether that's because of personal feelings, cultural stigma, or other reasons. I want to acknowledge that and let you know that we'll work at your pace. Whatever you feel comfortable sharing with me, I will take it. I'm here to support you, hear you, and process things with you. I'm also very upfront about the fact that my job will be to challenge you in certain ways as we work together. I prepare clients from the start for progress and growth, because ultimately, I want to help you get to a place where you feel empowered and ready to move forward.
