Hi! 'm Marisa Markowitz, LCSW, CASAC, C-DBT. I’m a warm, affirming, and goal-oriented therapist who believes that real change is possible — even when it feels scary or uncertain. Therapy is a courageous step, and I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and a clear plan.
I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and trauma. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Reprocessing (EMR). Together, we’ll identify what’s holding you back and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
