Marisa is a naturally nurturing individual who has always put others before herself. She understands the value and importance of mental healthcare and has made it her mission to be an ambassador for those who are struggling with their mental health as she once did. She hopes to provide a space where all clients feel comfortable and respected.
Marisa has experience working with individuals with Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, and Substance Use Disorder. Marisa utilizes a more client centered approach by using motivational interviewing and CBT in order to aid the client.
First sessions are always based on getting to know one another and seeing if we are a right fit. As a therapist, we know we are not one size fits all so it is important to make sure you feel I am the right fit for you!
