Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Reno, Nevada. I majored in Psychology and minored in Human Development and Family Studies at The University of Nevada, Reno and graduated in 2006, attended post baccalaureate pre-medical programs at NYU and Columbia and completed my Masters in Counseling and Educational Peychology at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2018. I work with children, teens, adults, families and couples.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-centered approach to therapy, creating a space that is open, warm, and deeply empathetic. While I offer compassion and support, I’m also direct and willing to challenge you when it serves your growth. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and solution-focused strategies to help you navigate difficulties and move toward lasting change.

What you can expect from me

I offer a warm, welcoming, and secure space where we can work together to clarify your goals and bring them to life. I believe that meaningful therapeutic change happens when you find the right connection with a therapist. Drawing on a wide range of therapeutic modalities, I bring both depth and versatility to our work together.
