Great to meet you!

Welcome to Wellness! As a licensed professional clinical counselor, I take pride in helping people facilitate healing and growth from within themselves. I am a Change Partner with you in your wellness journey. With ten years and counting of direct experience with mental health and substance abuse populations, I want to help you be successful. So, let's get to work!

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a Change Partner, I am diligent about actively listening, providing validations, using affirming language, setting goals, introducing skills and coping techniques, and holding clients accountable for the changes they want to make. I focus on helping people learn how to integrate their emotional and logical minds to create the Wise Mind.

What you can expect from our first session

The goal is to foster an environment with clients that is Mindful. Within this safe space, we cultivate skills that help clients learn how to regulate their emotions, tolerate distress, and improve interpersonal effectiveness. Through mindfulness, clients learn to be aware of the present moment and accept it without judgment.
